Description: The hospice counsellors, engagement coordinator, health and wellness coordinator, bereavement and spiritual care counsellor and volunteers offer care and support for you and your family in your own home. Heart House Hospice cares for people with terminal illnesses and their families living in the Brampton and Mississauga communities.

Serves: Terminally ill patients and their families of all ages.

Eligibility: For people with terminal illnesses and their families living in the Brampton and Mississauga communities.

Cost: No Cost.

Accessibility: The offices are located at the south-west corner of Matheson Blvd. and Timberlea, West of Dixie Road and East of Hurontario. Entrance to the parking is from Timberlea.

Description: Hospice care, in-home visiting program, adult bereavement support groups, and child bereavement support groups. Palliative care and bereavement supports are available to assist both those in the final stage of life and their families.

Description: “As a registered charity organization for single mothers, it is our mission to alleviate poverty for single mothers and their families. We also strive to lower the rates of crime and addiction for single mothers. SMIP provides programs and services that provide opportunities for employment, education, and training. In addition, counselling is provided to the families as well as assistance with their basic needs.”

Serves: SMIP offers support to mothers of all ages, restrictions to children directly supported by SMIP must be 18 years of age or younger.

Eligibility: Any single mother who has or is expecting children
